  • Gov. Chris Christie, with Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, signs the new 2 percent annual cap on property tax increase -- a statute instead of a constitutional amendment, with more exemptions than the governor wanted, but still a tighter cap than currently exists. Ceremony is at a Hamilton firehouse; earlier plans to hold it at a Trenton residence were rained out.
  • Christie earlier in the day speaks to annual New Jersey Building and Trades Convention in Atlantic City.
  • Fish and Game Council meets in Robbinsville. A December bear hunt is on the agenda.
  • Richard Gephardt, former House majority leader and candidate for the Democratic nomination for president, visits Piscataway and Camden to release a dedicated medical innovation policy agenda, in his role as current chairman of the Council for American Medical Innovation.
  • The New Jersey Economic Development Authority meets.
  • The state Real Estate Commission meets in Trenton.
  • Noise Control Council meets.
